The good news is the head & shoulders pattern formation in SPX has already reach it's intended target tonight. I really feel we can expect a dead cat bounce to maybe 1220-25 region and then we will go down again this time to retest the important 1000 mark. We already know the ECB and IMF is going to buy bonds from Spain and Italy aka QE Euro. This is going to be bad news and could cause dollar to rise in the short term against the euros. The financials are getting hit hard now. This is very negative after the reversals on last Friday. Goldman Sachs down 3.77% JP Morgan down 4.76% Morgan Stanley down 5.54% Wells Fargo down 2.98% BAC down a whopping 9.9% |

In beginning of August, one of famous expert has mentioned that our market will attain new high. I thing he has said wrong thing as the Benner Cycle had predicted that 2011 is a bad year. We shall see new low again. In 17 Oct 2010, I had posted a message that 2010 is at the peak for our market and we may see a major coreection in early/mid 2011. By now, we can say that Benner Cycle is so accurate. |

It is during such trying time that we have to contain our feeling, try not to read so many news. Dont let emotion rule. most likely, in such time bad news is more than good. These bad news got no benefit, it got you to sell in panic, then before you know , a few weeks or months down, you see px higher than today, you end up depress. Use your gut feeling, and buy fundamental solid stock, like i read the boss of singxpress in the paper yesterday. he told reader not to listen to analyst(news) , use your gut feeling. so far i am a little mre than a quater in the mkt, was thinking that a rally was coming,so as take advantage of most coy previous yr excellent performance, luckily, this crash come early. and most of my stock have yet to reach stop loss. , except some. Just dont be too pessimitic, My gut feeling tell me a rally possible before the yr end. You see px higher than before friday crash. good luck, happy holiday, may all be safe and well. |

Everyone still gotta eat no whether market is ultra-bullish or ultra-bearish. I miss the 50 cents Ice-Kacang during my school days. Anyway, from a trading point, it is good to have a recession every 3 to 5 years rather than everything remains stagnant.
