Dun scare people la. Not as if citibank collapsed or Credit suisse bankrupt. Just buy into stock that are defensive lor. Anyway wait 2-3 years share will still rise back. On the brighter note Brazil and Columbia market rose. What can be expected 1) Geithner to announce resumption of fed bond buying 2) US to report higher employment rate. Unemployment drop to 9%. I suspect they may kelong and guess a higher figure. 3) ECB to announce it has sufficient fund to support all 8 banks that failed the stress test the last time. 4) China decided to buy spain and italy bonds. |

Do you know all the emerging countries (China, India and Brazil) are all now having a hard time to tackle massive inflation? Their GDP's are going to be hit by endless tightening policies to fight inflation. :p

Investors always have this problem. When they got money, they wouldnt want to keep it in their bank. They somehow want to invest. I have this problem too.

This may not be the time to be a contrarian. Europe now is like a time bomb waiting to explode anytime. There are no positive solutions coming out from the French and German meeting. If Germans GDP is already bad, wait till the other Euro nations report their GDP which is expected to be worst. Good Luck :p

i would continue to short and also put warrants until next monday. there is simply no news that could get the market back up. gold prices are going up, treasury yield are at its lowest. that means ppl are shifting money out of equity. for the time being, the market has limited chances of going up except for some dead cat pounce here and there. do not bet against the market. all signal are that the market are still in a bear although i agree it is oversold. |
