I dunno what the FED will try to announce befoe US Labour Day 5-September. If there's no positive news coming out, get ready for a roller-coaster ride all the way down. Else look for a technical bounce on the week preceding the US Labour Day (which could coincide with SPX @ 1000 point. Good Luck :p |

so now can re-use the title of this post entry and is becoming appropriate again ? STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors cycle time is getting harder and harder to predict and within cycle there are mini-cycles and high-frequency trading...good luck to all. |

few days ago after Morgan Stanley said" world dangerously close to recession" ....DOW plunged 400+pts.....now they said this.. minority of players control the prices of stock market and make majority of people poorer... they don't run country and economy, but who's next and what not is going to say next ?

Wall Street ended a fourth week of losses with no let-up in the negative sentiment. The main [.N] indices fell around 1.6 percent, with a dismal outlook for Hewlett-Packard Investors still favoured the safety of gold, which hit a record high on Friday, but halted their rush to bonds, with the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury note Attention is now on Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's speech on Aug. 26 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for hints on how policymakers plan to address the weakness in the economy. I agree with sifu on many points made by sifu... I also think that stocks is not a straightforward game as many think. That is why you can easily find professionals, eg engineers, doctors, accountants, lawyers, beauticianss, models, pole dancers, etc etc. who lost money like sheet in the stock market. And many of them are very dedicated in their FA and TA studies too. Yet they lose plenty of money (of course, understandably, they will not tell you they lost, because they will only tell you when they win). Thus, no one should " sng-sng" (main2) with stocks. |

And some more, -Casino is for fun only, U never win in long run. Because luck cannot be studied and control, U r not god. Dont try to predict! -Casino is 24hrs so if u lose discipline or get unlucky, U will lose till family also forgot. And when U remember, saving all gone. -Stock is 9 to 5 with weekend off, so theres enough time for U to cool down and to reflesh your thinking/strategy. -There r many great pros stock investor around, but where got great pros gambler? (Expect casino boss) -Stock investment can give U more knoweldge, gambling by luck can only give U more loanshark friends, IOU and more paint outside your house. -Right stock investment can lead to financial freedom, and wrong gambling can lead U faster to heaven of freedom :)

Stock odds is a lots better than Casino rubbish odds (Expect PVP Texas Holdem- This need real skill). In Stock- -U can see the market trend to favor your odds -U can buy and hold in bull market -U can hit and run in cow market -U can short in bear market -U can chose your horse -U can get dividend -U can use news and rumour -U can see fear and panic -U can see market confidence -U can see ghost :) Those lose because they cannot see anything, they just anyhow bets in wrong ways wrong times. Thats why many lose and fews win. |

Thats why Casino kills, Some go for small fun, But many goes for the big hunt and kanna hunt! The more i understand Casino games odds, the more i not going to play them. But many just dont understand that and keep pushing their luck. In the end, its too late for them. Lose all their discipline and control. Lose everything and family.

Many just dont truely understand the real meanings of Buy when everyone throw durian and Sell when everyone wants to eat durian. Only some knows how to use it well. Last friday big lau sai with market panic sell off who dare to hop and eat? Others see ghost while others side see chance. Timing is very important for short trade, not anyhow hop and eat.

But I think sifu will understand this... that when you tell them, many will be against you... Because many will feel bullish and they will tell you " buy when everyone has fear" and all that crap. Thus, this is the fact of the stock market....

In this rotten times, if hand too itchy and wants to play with the market. Just play small small for fun is ok, if U wrong also wont lose so much, treat it as buying a movies ticket to watch a horror show. No buy no chance, got buy got chance. Dont mau too big for chance, as u will also kill by chance. |
