This method is also one of the strategic system trading. There  is a more advance modified version combine with ##### to further maximize its winning odds % and minimize more risk %. I think some of my past posting already said out the answer :)

But system is just a system, somethings we must also change the system to fit/suit different market play in order to maximize system powers.

at least, 85% of trader now are pessimitic, so this is time to buy.when they turn bullish, then it is time to sell.

This one got to use with good TA, if you enter a trade at the right time, you are most likely 60 to 70% success rate.

basically, i use trend trading couple with TA..

dont try to read so many news, they are from analyst out to create confusion, look at chart and trend.

You can actually check out those counters that moved 5% or more today, there are signs of BBs buying up yesterday and today by looking at the volume per trade. 

Example: Counters like Genting HK US$, Noble Group and Amtek. 

In my opinion, I will go short when the gap is filled on the STI (around the 2815 mark).

This rally will not be sustainable.

It is possible that we can have a 10-15% pop before another leg down coming in my view. 

Reason:

Asian and European Markets has rebounded from the lows made on 22-Aug but the US Market is still very weak especially the US Financials.

JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs & Wells Fargo has continue the drop from yesterday and are now making lower lows.

Freeport McMoran which is a leading indicator for commodity play is still hovering at the lows now.

What we are getting here looks like a Dead Cat Bounce in Asian and Europe.

If Ben Bernanke does not give any hint on QE3 action this Friday in Jackson Hole, the Dow could easily tank another 500 points when Asian Markets open for trading on next Monday.

Be very careful in holding long positions over this weekend.

I would have advise to take some profits off the table if you are already in the money by coming Friday for your long positions.

if you remember those who panic and sell in the beginning of the crises in 2008, will the one who have the less heartache.

if this round you have do the same, today you lose less, but now till not late,

if 25% down , still ok, but if you delay, then the lose will be realise.

for if 1.0 become 35c..you got to have a 185% .just to even.

and that is possible if recession, this rd will be deep recession, make it even more possible,
