To have sweet dreams this weekend, the best is with no position. Whether long or short also some will worry but if you get used to it, can overcome panic. In this recent volatile market, panic is the main enemy. Learnt a lot during this period, be alert to turn long & short, have a clear mind and learn to overcome fear & panic, also make some mistakes sometimes. This time I bet for long as it always turn the other direction when most expect to go short. I feel it's just 50-50, as at this time can't depend too much on chart also, more on psychology of traders. As long as you managed to protect your capital, you are successful. Good luck to all!

In messy financial world, if a few influential parties intend to make it worst than what it's suppose to be, it will happen(by exagerating it, blow up the extend of demaging impact), purpose is to demage certain financial mechanism, like equity. They can also choose to ignorant it and don't emphasize it or keep it low key. look at the good timing of a down grading(those AAA craps) and the adore gold like god. and suddenly those who adore it was the one who dump it fiercely to let it drop to the degree they like to see. If the world is as bad as what they have seen and kept rushing for gold as secutity, they should hold it forever . AAA matter has quiet down and will be forgotten. They always create fear or confidence so as to give a reason. So although the mkt is still in bad shape, they feel that they have slashed it down enough and there is room for them to make profit, they will give position views immedaitely...................the financial world is a game, it's played by certain game designers(directors). we are trying to follow it's design but their designs look more and more like an abstract art.--unpredictable |

As in, Dow will close green tonight, I'm betting with sifu isolator. haha. Market sentimental is still extremely bearish. I closed positions already. I also wish that market pengsan so that i can enter cheap cheap. haha.

I really don't see STI going above 3000 from now till year end (with or without QE3). If it does, I will be looking to short big time.

i am not refering to ah ben not annoucing QE3 as a bad news.. i am just saying that the econs data are all bad news :) at this point, i would say 50/50.. 50 believes tat market is crashing, 50 still believes tat it wont if not u wont be buying now :)

all these so called " bad news" has already been priced in, for the market to continue to tank, there must be new " unexpected" news. for example, many people must have been surprised why the market did not go down despite bernanke not announcing any stimulas, but the market has already priced in the fact that it was highly unlikely that ben is going to do anything. i believe the market has many people expecting it to crash, but yet there are also alot of people waiting to buy on dips at a bargain price. so must see how it goes in the following weeks to determine the real direction of the market, before committing any long or short calls. for now, i am long, but if it turns the other way, then i made a wrong judgment. we cant be right all the time, if not, we would all be millionaires

Not all counters rally. If you short Semb Corp or Semb Marine at the start of Monday, you should be sitting on some nice profits.
