Almost as soon as the market opens Monday, and faces the aftermath of Hurricane Irene, a slate of economic data will start coming out that is expected to have an impact on investors heading into the Labor Day weekend. “Not until we have meaningful reductions in unemployment are we going to see real changes in the economy,” McIver said.
