STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors Post Reply Rate topic

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Dear all STI investors, As of yesterday 7 Sep 2011, the following are the respective P/E ratios of leading markets: Dow Jones   11415pts   P/E 12.2 S& P   1199 pts P/E 13.1 Nasdaq   2549 pts P/E 19.4 FTSE100   5319 pts P/E 10.4 CAC40   3073 pts P/E 8.8 DAX 5406 pts P/E 9.6 Nikkei225   8763 pts P/E 16.5 HSI   20048   P/E 9.3 STI 2832   P/E 8.1  Analysis:   From the above, we see that STI (yes Singapore) has the lowest P/E ratio of 8.1 only, not seen since the scary time of 2008. If conservatively, STI reaches P/E ratio of 10, STI should be worth 3496.   So, we all know that Singapore companies which see very good profits but the prices have yet to reach their full potential.   Investors should take a look at Singapore market and reap the full potential of STI.   Upside of 23.4% should be very reasonable for P/E ratio of 10, or STI of 3496.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I always like to buy when there is not going or coming, that means trading is virtually stall. a stage where even mkt drop big time, but that counter stand still, this is time to buy.. one example is i bought UMS at 33c.  this is applicable for small cap only, if only you think bullish going forward. and must be liquid stock when mkt turn bullish, not those solid but not heart beat counter, like ppl say buying value,
