Partly I need income, partly I need to keep myself occupied for the day. Without knowing, a day passes very quickly. I hated most is the Chinese New Year period where my company will close for 1 week. I will be ask to do nothing at home, and thinking of getting out all shops are closed for the festive. I think I will work till my last days. Being a retiree is like waiting to die leh. I have no garden to mend, no dog to walk. Washing my car everyday?

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	it's catch-22 for me, kilroy. if i don't try, i'd never know. for one thing, having a full time job hampers trading, and vice versa. So you never quite know if  you can make more profits than your day job or not. but then, to go a year jobless would make my parents kill me. haha. if it helps any, my previous two jobs wasn't quite related to what i studied, anyway. FA meaning? financial advisor?

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	going into trading to be a trader or becoming a FA?  Its two different thing my dear.  You studied almost 1/3 of your life to learn to do what you did in your previous job, unless you wish to study for another 1/3 of your life to become a trader, I think its best to stick to what you are currently doing best.  Put trading as a part time thingy.  Unless you can make the same OR more from your previous job in your current trading AND consistently for a period of one year or more, then should you consider doing it FT. Else dont even think abt it.... really.
