Like NAV PE ROE.Simple ratios.Then to be really good you need to check if the ratios make sense to the industry average. if profits decrease and NAV keeps increasing , there could be severe valuation concerns.Companies are valuing their assets at non market standard rates which you will need to understand in the financial reports.Then to see the quality of accounts receivables.The Intangible asset if its amortised. Sometimes ratios dont make sense.There might be presense of fraud which you need forensic accounting analaytical skills to further figure out the extent of the upside and downside if the fraud occurs THen you come to technicals for short term. Bollinger band macd .Resistance and support must know very well so comes the RSI and momentum slow stochiastic oscillator THen come to Economic news are there pending news pending results. pending market moving indicators. Then come to currency Is last night currency appreciation an inflow or just devlaluation of the other currency so as to boost export by lowering prices or due to our own monetary policies that lead to the rise.Will more funds inflow due to currency appreciation or outflow as exports become more expensive and hence less competitive. then come to legal arena are there laws binding or perhaps new restriction and laws that will impede the profitability of the business   etc genting then come to simple terms company play around Dividends , cumrights . warrants issued . expiring warrants insider trading then come to market sentiment has most investors already inside market or going to pour inside.when will shortists cover.when did the shortists went in in the first place . will there be a rally due to short covering etc then come to mind games. sometimes you see q at buy price very big then suddenly dissapear .your trade is done. why? cause its distribution/ one must understand signs of accumulation and distribution. then come timing timing is everything.is price good to enter now or later. should i wait over weekend or take the risk.How many are already inside and waiting to sell or how many are not inside and waiting for a buy signal through technical trading then come your risk appetite. then many many more. One tat do not really loss much, but win alot  are brokers and remisers who can really discipine themself n treat it like nomal business.
