Genting Singapore reports its third quarter results Nov. 11 and CLSA expects Resorts World Sentosa to report third quarter revenue of S$749 million compared with S$860.8 million in the second quarter.

if you are confident it will go down, why not short it instead of selling it? Say you bought 1 lot, now short it at 2 lots. This will cover it but you can hold to the previous one.

Fr my previous post,i mentioned about the small market S'pore had.Genting & MBS need tourists( lot of it ) and high rollers to substain its high cost of operation here.

Macau have a huge potential customer base from China so is a different comparison.

Of course, i did not say Genting is not good,mid to long term wise ,it is still pretty attractive to hold for 5-7yrs.Although both resorts compete with each other, they also complement one another .Eventually it will benefit S'pore economy.

Imo,it is still possible for the price to drop further.Q3 result will be a important milestone for this stock to dip or rise further as Genting price now is all time high.

On the safe side, it will be better to re-enter after Q3 result.

Of course, if Q3 result is better than Q2 result ,might have miss the boat.

That will depend our own risk appetite.But if intend to hold long for this stock should not be bother about the short term fluctuation.
