Under normal conditions, it should be EUR down = USD up. Under abnormal conditions where every central banks try to debase their own currencies to boost their exports to create jobs, I would say yes it is a possibility going into 2012. :p

I think must also see how China wants to do with their dollar reserves and play along with the recent anti-currency manipulation bill pass by US senate. Looks like a currency war between US and China going to break out anytime. Euro down --> USD down --> CNY down = markets cheong. USD up = markets dived. :p

That is just a possibility, it's not a confirmation yet. Must see how Dow performs tonight. Anyway, I've already identify the counters to short, it Dow confirms the down slide.

Agree. It's kind of late to Buy now. In fact, I've been waiting to take profits from my long positions and go short. So far, no shorting yet, but have been waiting for the last 2 days. There is a high chance that tomorrow would be the day.
