STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

Hong Kong property to fall up to 10%: developer

HONG KONG (MarketWatch) -- New World Development Co. /quotes/zigman/14250 HK:17 -1.48% /quotes/zigman/14249 NDVLF -10.00% Managing Director Henry Cheng was cited in a Reuters report Tuesday as saying Hong Kong residential property prices could decline 8% to 10% in a short period of time. Cheng said a decline of such magnitude would be in keeping with supplies of new land being brought to market by the government. Shares of real-estate major New World Development, a constituent of the Hang Seng Index, were down 1.5% at the midday break in Hong Kong on Wednesday.

We have covered Shorts from yesterday. We see market are due for a pretty solid rebound soon maybe later this week or next week we are not sure. Shorting at this level is not attractive.

Sakari is a gem some BB are currently accumulating. We will buy more once it goes below $1.85 and when the time is ripe it will fly high :P

China flash PMI is @ 48 showing a slow down in its manufacturing. We expect the actually PMI to be around 48.5-49.7 a slight better than the HSBC flash PMI.
what does that mean ? China is gonna loosen its monetary policy... As we know China is better in managing its economy policy than the western counter part. Just yesterday report shows that China rural banks RRR has been reduced.

Looking at goldenagri :) its awesome - I believe theres more upside for GoldenAgri and Olam .... As we expect demand spike for festive seasons are happening right now.

hmmm.. i'm just thinking, as much as i HOPE the markets to rebound after a long down, the charts are showing that STI and HSI have broken through a support line at estimated 2688 and 17985 respectively.. That means continued down till the previous LOW??

You are right... China needs to " jaga badan" (take good care of itself first)...

But if asked by the West to help their debts, in view of it's huge dollar
