He says that the textile sector as a whole is showing signs of turning around, especially due to the growing affluence of China with its rising middle class and expanding purchasing power. The stock has had a good run in recent sessions and hit an all-time high of $0.470 on Jan. 11 in anticipation of the KDR listing. The company announced late Thursday that it will raise $223.8 million in net proceeds via the KDR listing and use the proceeds for expanding businesses.

SINGAPORE, Jan 14 (Reuters) - Shares of China Gaoxian , a Singapore-listed Chinese yarn and fabric supplier, fell as much as 10.1 percent on Friday after it said it will issue 30 million Korean Depository Receipts (KDRs) at S$0.405 per new share.

At 0355 GMT, China Gaoxian shares were down 6.7 percent at S$0.415 on a volume of 25.5 million shares. The stock closed at S$0.445 on Thursday.

"They priced the Korean shares at S$0.405, which is lower than the last closing price. Maybe they did that to attract investors in Korea to buy their new shares," said a local trader.

China Gaoxian said it expects to raise net proceeds of around S$223.8 million ($174.1 million) from issuing the KDRs. The firm will be dual-listed on the KRX Kospi Market on Jan 25.

The firm told Reuters in November last year that it targets a 20-30 percent rise in 2011 sales volume on increased capacity and strong demand in China.

I learnt from many of you these two days.... look longer term.. fundamentals are strong and the support is good. downside is low while the upside is high... so even if you go in now and hold, it might give you good returns if you hold. That's why i went in early at .4 this morning. but i was also prepared to lose...

just my two cents worth.
