STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

 Alert Admin 		STI always poor showing.  Any good  leads coming from outside will not cause a quick reaction, as always. A bad news outside will.  Now the world stage is still harping unnecessarily on some financial issues for  too long.  Things to watch will be an escalating conflict with Iran and if it occurs will it spike the world  stock markets? Think so..

make sure that your family or loved ones DO NOT suffer from this market.. pass on your lesson to them..

(Reuters) - Stocks ended slightly higher on Monday in a light-volume session as investors stayed cautious ahead of corporate  earnings  and key auctions for European debt this week....DOW  12,392.69  +32.77  +0.27%

As the first company in the  Dow  to report results, Alcoa is seen as the unofficial start to the earnings season. In the regular session Alcoa rose 3 percent to $9.43.

After breaking out of the gate with strong gains on the first day of trading in January, stocks have been confined to a tight range in daily moves and volume has been low.  ....

  Traders also await monetary policy announcements from the European Central Bank and the Bank of England due Thursday. Investors are keen to hear ECB President Mario Draghi's latest comments on ways to ease the debt crisis.

Fourth-quarter earnings for S& P 500 companies were expected to rise 7.8 percent from a year ago, according to a Thomson Reuters forecast, down from 17.6 percent predicted in July.

we all also kana trap before..

its how fast we escape from it and learn a lesson..

some people never learn their lesson...

i dont want to pass my assets to my children in future and they lost it because of poor trading strategy and bad atittude..

yea, i am just learning day to day before thinking of earning big $$..

like today i am happy tat i dont repeat last week's mistake.. day 1 earn profit  day 2 loss profit..

today i am happy i earn $180.. haha

i prefer not to teach them how to trade.. unless sui sui my children got trapped into this..

Nowadays market very very challenging one lah…

If i'm not familiar with DAX and i go trade , confirm lose money one lor..

me more familiar with dow,, so better for me ! 

i think DOW is supposed to be red tonight..

The sudden reversal of HSI this afternoon is not a good thing to me.. i short dow once it turns 30 pts red..
