pharoah, Are you serious you are using COURTS management system skill into Singapore politics system? Courts offers 110% money back, but, on the other hand, those " buy back" are refurbished and sold to another buyer, 2nd hand, though, at cheaper rates. How are you comparing this to the COURTs management system.. Interesting, can you elaborate. Is it: When people vote oopposition party, but, after that, they regret, PAP take it back, then, ask people to " revote again" ?? hahahah!

fully agreed. people think that PAP has planned well in facing the departure of head(too be discreet) but I feel that it's kind of worry, nowadays, how many I guess the new breed of the members are following the doctrines of our govt, will they have their idea in many fields, do they dare think out of PAP's box.......??

I can only say Single party ruling may be a failure in matter of time....History tells.... will like to vote for a party which is sincere in curbing the properties. it's just the will, but the govt has 2 faces, on one hand say there are going to curb the property heat or at least stablise on the other hand the father of the country said the property in t. pagar will not drop.....frustrated with this kind of govt. then must well don't show concern about the heat of the property in the first place. giving out a hundred and not solving the big problem of the general low and middle class income groups.....if only there is strong opposition, then our govt will listen to us and not play taichi

Spalling concrete usually occurs in older flats due to wear and tear over time. [Roof & Floor get WEAR & TEAR ? ? ? ?] #### Very serIOUs #### NOT manUfactUrer's FAULT ? ? ? ? As Mr Govindasamy is aware, flat owners are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of their own homes. Nonetheless, the HDB recognises spalling concrete as a common concern of HDB residents. Where spalling concrete occurs as a result of a ceiling leak at the kitchen or toilets, the HDB has a Goodwill Repair Assistance (GRA) scheme to facilitate the repairs. Under the GRA, the HDB will co-pay 50 per cent of the repair cost. The balance 50 per cent of the repair cost would be paid by the affected flat owners. In addition, spalling concrete is also addressed under the HDB’s Home Improvement Programme (HIP). Flats built before 1987 and which have not undergone the Main Upgrading Programme (MUP) are eligible for the HIP. The HDB will step up the pace of the HIP progressively. At this accelerated pace and if budget remains available, it is estimated that all eligible blocks will be offered the HIP in about 10 years. |
