Not so correct..in 2007 july-aug Jade hit a high of 54cts..after subprime problems stable around 30 to 35cts before it went down to about 20cts,,,was forced down to 8cts in beginning of 2008 b4 Dr Soh announced the 22.5cts takeover it was dramatically pushed up all the way from 8 to 12..15...18...19cts and up to 22cts when official takeover launch was announced.(Not vested anymore anymore..sold off all 2.5mil from 42cts to 50cts)..still monitoring this counter as it made gd profits for me

Stupidfool did not express correctly...let me try again. Jade was like ard 5 to 7 cts.Then Dr Soh came along and announced that he was going to buy into Jade. This sent Jade shares up to like 30 cts. Then because dr soh got into some margin lending problem,he said the deal cannot go ahead,thus bringing Jade shares back to where it is now. Hope i got it rite,otherewise do excuse me....hehehe. |

From a stupidfool's point of view,Jade has been at 5 to 7 cts b4 Dr Soh's announcement. Thus it is just going back to the old px.Nothing has really changed.

The Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (Acra) confirmed on 16/4 it is investigating the Jade Technologies takeover saga after receiving information on possible breaches of the Companies Act. Acra joins a host of other regulatory and enforcement agencies now picking over one of the biggest corporate debacles for some time. In a statement to BT, Acra said it was unable to provide further details, including the source of the information. It also said it is working with the CAD on the matter. Acra regulates businesses and public accountants. It is concerned, among other things, with Chapter 50 of the Companies Act, which includes provisions for notifications of substantial shareholdings and other company regulations. |
