Generally it takes about 5-6 months for someone who suffers a traumatic psychologial event to mourn their loss and come to accept the reality of the event- for example death of a loved one, divorce, monetary loss, house burned down.etc The stock market is not very different as it is made up of the collective psyche of human beings-individual investors or fund managers.The healing process will take about this period of time-so do not expect the market to recover until about 28-11-06. |
