morning paper said 2.9 b but nite paper claimed 2.3b. nonetheless, can't help much loh. thats much depend on the coy itself. just like d 3 giant auto in state, how to help them, as they dun help themselves.

Should be buying for short term profit, budget annoucement will be good if not will not bring forward to annoucement Reason are: 1. PAP thinking of pushing the election earlier 2. Singapore is spending so much to helping investment banks all over the world, if come to singapore budget little to help singaporean. Singaporean will see RED. 3. To contain unemployment, big help is needed to stop the retrenchment

What recovery???? You must at least see some signs of bottom b4 you talk about recovery. Of course no one can forecast the bottom., but I'm sure there're many signs that still point to the direction of the bottom................................................a long way b4 you see 'REAL RECOVERY' of the STI and the recovery process will be as flat as this line ________________________________________.. before it moves north again ....sigh........! My way is to position myself for recovery. I do not guess when the recovery. I use the Sakura way, i.e Sakura is about to bloom anytime but we do not know when only.. Things are getting negative. Looks like we can only tell next yr how the situation. Retrenchment is the next big problem if bear drags on...Housing will come down at faster rate...Maybe some small pay cut or CPF cut follows as usual. All these must happen first before a recovery, i think so. |
