Credit Suisse has started its coverage of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding with an "outperform" recommendation and a tp of $2.45, forecasting earnings growth to peak next year but to continue until 2010. "Following the completion of the company's new yard, we expect Yangzijiang's order book to continue to expand, albeit at a slower rate, in '08," Credit Suisse analyst Haider Ali said in a note to investors. |

Europe mkt up, DOW futures 3 figures GREEN, Crude Oil dropped below $90, I dun see what reason for YZJ not to charge on Monday. We DEFINITELY will see above 2.00 on Monday. Hope to see 2.09 break!!! |

good buy @1.99 for greater profit, next price to buy-in 2.09 Fundamental is strong; potential to move up with very strong support levet >1.9. This stock will eventually move up as we can see that the market sentiment has been improving. I dont think anyonw dare to short it now. |

Market sentiment belongs to TA group. Analysts' report using a few fundamental figures including but not exclusive to current earning, asset value and contract values to project earnings and values in the future (forcasting). Its for FA group. So, it depends which type of investor are you. Investors invest using FA are not as bothered by the big correction as TA investors. This is because they are looking at long term of 3 ~ 5years return. Not 3 ~ 5 weeks. In fact, FA investors will load more during big correction because they belive in the value and fundamental of the company. |

0039 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: Credit Suisse initiates Yangzijiang (BS6.SG) at Outperform, sets S$2.45 target price. Says company has largest order book of any privately-owned shipbuilding company in China, completion of new ship yard should drive further growth in orders. "We estimate that Yangzijiang's net order book will stand at approximately CNY39 billion by the close of 2007. We expect the order book to grow to CNY46 billion in 2008." Notes company has earnings growth visibility until 2010, although earnings growth expected to peak next year. Shares closed +2.6% at S$1.95 yesterday. (KIG) |

Reuters - Fri 6:42 pm Shares of Chinese shipbuilding firms Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings and Cosco Corp rose as much as 3 percent after Credit Suisse initiated coverage of the stocks with an "outperform" rating and target prices of S$2.45 and S$7.90 respectively. |
