eh. i can do FA too. victorian and shplayer taught me. many thanks to them. :) portfolio split up for trading and FA. it's dif strats for both. so need to be very clear on outset. my FA stocks are basically sit and wait, value investing style. market's very jittery tho. nd to be careful not to give in to fear/greed. does anyone at all know when yzj's results are out? can't seem to find... |

yzj only half way through its downtrend. if you look at sgx announcement, the primary trigger is Baring Asset Mgmt. they've been selling off their stake. (perhaps to satisfy redemptions back home? hit high of 2.74; any manager would have taken profit) their buy px was once at abt 1.8, again at abt 2.04 (26 sept). so can surmise that the first viable support is 2.04 or thereabouts. coincidences with the tech count of abt 2. wait for bottoming. FA-wise: Co's last half year report showed 62% increase in PAT (profit after tax) yoy. Some segments down, but ship orders are very strong, and cash flow is excellent. Will be included as STI component stock in jan 08. Plus, beijing olympics. Those are the catalysts in the future. For now, it's simply tracking the H shares in hongkong, which chionged up after the china minister said they'd allow local PRC investors into HK stocks; and then cooled the market by saying not so. fyi. not an inducement to buy/sell ah. those for shorting, the tandem counter yanlord might be a better option. williams not completely oversold yet. |

Hi, GerGer. The 1 lot gap filling at 228 happened on 5 Nov. This was a support that many traders hope will hold. To have just 1 miserable lot filling the gap seems quite funny to me when it happened, because at that point in time, there was a very long queue of buyers at 228 while the sell queue at 229 was relatively short. Thus, most people will probably join the sell queue at 229 instead of throwing away at 228. Unfortunately, this kills the supporting gap and became the first crack of the dam and the bleeding hasn't stop till now. |

Yes, DnApeh. I was wrong, indeed very very wrong about the gap filling at 228 with that one single lot. I had high hope about the reversal, but got sucked in instead. I had since exited at 227 and since then I did not see YZJ going above 227 but heading down lower and lower each day. Stock mkt is so unpredictable. We just have to be nimble and attentive. I had since admitd defeated and did not touch YZJ since then. But I will surely revisit again when all dust settle. Looking at plunge each day, I do not see light at other end of the tunnel. We will have to wait lah...be alive to fight tomorrow, we dun hero today. Cheers. |

Hi, idesa168. Remember the guy who sold 1 lot at 228 to close the gap? That was the crack that broke the dam. Now dun know when the flood will end. So many dead bodies. |
