Seems quite safe to buy at 9c or lower - all-time low, limited downside risk 'cos of high asset backing. Ideal for reverse takeover where investors can strip its assets n sell piecemeal, especially its properties in China. Buy at your own risk esp. in current credit crunch n subprime fallout etc. |

ASA is already very different from the past. Their quality and market position has dropped a lot in China. They do not have a very strong management team as before, so consider carefully if you want to buy this counter. |

Small investors existing ASA, even MP Ong Kian Min jumped ship "to devote more time to other commitments". I don't think he did anything good for ASA in the past.
