I remember that the last time when it annouce to acqure China Plant, investors dumped First Link. Now with the M&A put aside, would this clear investors' fear of having another round of right issures? |

Hi anyone still hodling First Link? Recent development: Termination of agreement to the proposal to acquire China Plant Nutrition. Good or bad. I think it is going to bottom out since its so-called nta is 17 cents. Do you think it will go down to its historic low of 2 cents? | ||

And applying this to BengKuang which has just be given in principle blessing by SGX on 5Nov..by he time major papers published its EGM date or when circulars are dispatched to shareholders don't expect to get at this price 87.5cts today. Why safe? during Oct 19 sharp correction it dropped momentarily to 81cts and by end of day crept back to 86cts and on mon and tue 29 and 30 Oct...it broke out of its chart 92cts on nol >2mil unlike its daily average vol of ab 300-500lots...When dubai dry dock successfully acquired Labroy..most biz will be passed to BKM..Pan United was successful acquired by Dubai...and Pan United is also a customer of BKM like most major shipyards in S'pore.Dubai world Port successfully acquired P & O and has apllied for IPO in Dubai may provide synergy or even take over BKM in the near future..say at 90cts ex all price is ab 30cts but I expect it to trade>40cst..its recent pte placement price to institutions at 38cts..can consider if U can hold but definitely not for contra pl    |

Hi Gallen,sarahlkh..firstlink is so slow moving cut off and bear with yr loss for a while and switch to sinostar..all recovered not too late..I hve been advising those stuck with Biosensor,UnitedFibre,Achieva,Magnus,SunEast...just to take the loss and switched within 1 to 2 dyas they recovered for those who bought Sinostar from 55cte to 78cts..all recovered and their pains/losses abated..If U really got stamina and want to hold then use yr sale proceeeds from these slow moving stocks to buy BengKuang for its 1 for 3 stocksplits( 3 to 6mths) U'll recover everything plus make profits at least something to look forward instead of holding to stocks that hve no promise... Sinostar cheong so mkt capitalisation will move up..will be institution favourities...still can grab..base on today's half day vol 175mil all 70 to 80cts should be out now that its price is 86.5/87cts...sure cross $1 this week or by tue 9 Oct.... Yesterday I still scream buy at 76 to 78cts ..one old bird jeered at me...today is now 85.5-86cts..never underestimate this counter now that the contra over new batch of contra or shortist will come into play bearing in mind last wed 26Sept was its debut..will cross $1 in less than 1 mth may even surpass Uniasia superb performance...hurrah :P |
