Same same here! That's right....this is a must buy stock for fund managers whom invested in SEA region esp. during this turbulence time. FY08 result at 14 May, expect 10-15cts divds at least. |

FY coming out in June. And usually there declare dividend in June. Expect Div to be ard $0.18-$0.20. Last year I got fat bonuses as their div $0.16. Never lost money on Singtel stocks till date. Even in sub prime crisis this stock stood strong. Consistent dividends and price increase over the years. Good Buy Must Buy! |

Soooorry, may be wrong use of words, what AK meant was that if DJ don't go up, others follow. Really, last nite DJ down only just 24.34, Nikkie and Asian follow suit loh. STI now down 11.17, market quiet. |

DJ is the Global's Yardstick for Stock Markets?????? It maybe the world's leading Index widely used by Fund Managers and that doesn't make DJ a Yardstick for Stock Markets. Each and every Stock Market has its own Trading Rules and Regulations and of course, not forgetting the Listings' requirements. The China Stock Market and the DOW are two very different Markets and each has its own life cycles!!! Tell it to the Chinese to follow the DOW and you would definitely have a KOW-DOW...hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers |

Yah, can't deny the fact that DJ is the global's yardstick for stock market. Couples with Nikkei and SHI/HSI performances before and after STI rolling out, that will give you some guide on the general STI performance the day. HSI is affected by SHI and subsequently those China's coy listed in Spore. Pse note that SHI opens early than HSI half an hr. |

Ha ha...seems like everyone is completely captured by Dow's movement nowadays....dictating when and what to buy. Shouldn't it be more of investing in potential companies??? Well, personally I was affected by it as well...too engrosed and miss the forest for the tree... |

So far both BBs JP and ML posted no major impact on DJ. AK foresee likewise Citi would not affect the market seriously. What causing Stel to dipped could be the follow-up of termintion of Optus Opel contract and the portability thingy. Patiently wait for record card on 14 May 08 loh. However, once this burger drop below 3.80, then your choice leow. Mentioned too many times leow, need not to elaborate further. |

AWAS, LONG STORRY. 
Couldn't find any concrete reason for the marginal variants. What I observe is that it just follow the market sentiments. There are a lot of players in this stock, they are opportunists, including me. Previously, being knowing its characteristics, mainly player driven, once it dip more than 8 bits or more and it is within the region 3.6-3.8, I will buy in 10-30 lots. Normally 10 lots is the norm. Once kopi money is reached, then I will decide whether to dump or keep further. As for 10-30 lots plan, worst scenario if it plunge further, I use 1/3 method. Ie, when my loss margin is reached, then keep 10 throw 20. Stop touching this burger until the 10 lots gain back the losses incurred in the 20 lots contra. This time round it is at the high end. Not favourable to fish it. Anyway, all these are AK's copy right process. Want to copy, ha ha you take the risk at your own accord leow loh. AK won't sue you lah. Cheers man. |

i think its good to load up some when it hits 3.78 and then maybe hold till 14/5/08. Then will avg down if go lower. |
