lol i agree with you, but based on ezra's performance, i would think that even at $1.20, it is still undervalued, i would think around $1.40-$1.60 should be achievable!

finally someone did a coverage on swiber. i would think this is the most laggard stock in singapore. aug last year it was trading at around 2 dollars plus. with this momentum and new contracts coming in. it could rally 8% a day. come end dec. it should close $1.20 or more. | ||

Swiber Holdings Quick takes - Chasing big contracts in Brazil and India - by Lim Siew Khee (SWIB SP / SWBR.SI, OUTPERFORM - Maintained, S$0.93 - Tgt. S$1.95, Oil Equipment and Services) Maintain Outperform on Swiber with a higher target price of S$1.95 (from S$1.61). We believe that Swiber could be awarded a total of US$600m contracts from Petrobras Brazil and ONGC India in the near future. Swiber's valuation of 7x core CY10 P/E is at a 30% discount to the other offshore & marine small caps under our coverage. With a potential acceleration in its order wins, we believe it could trade up to 12x, in line with its 3-year trading band. i am not sure why swiber is not appreciating in price as most stocks have recovered to their highs of 2008. Swiber was trading in the region of $2. With this 100 million bonds secured and in the pocket, it will give them more space to expand, acquire and move forward. Stay vested! |

Is the US$100m Conv Bond Issue fully underwritten by DBS (lead manager)? If not, Swiber is taking a very big risk here. Should the CB failed to materialise (due to falling share prices that make the floor conversion price of $1.08 unattractive) the repercussion is unimaginable. | ||
