no...share OPEC news here? I only know Iran not happy with oil price, felt should be higher! Friday, there was a sabotage of oil pipeline.

I see strong support at 8.00 to 8.10 level. Barring any bad news stateside, it looks like this counter may go up to 8.50 - 8.60 level over the next few days before XD. Maybe touching 8.80 before consolidation. Let's see if this turns out correctly. Of course, as idesa says, this is not an inducement to buy/sell... just dunkie view only (or maybe donkey view? :-)) | ||||

I think the good set of result was more or less factored into the cuurent price now as suggested by AK. However, I see that this good result play still has another leg up (not much though), due to some conservative play that sideline and awaiting for the good result to confirm. This may drive the price up a little more (probably 8.30 - 8.40 range). I am still holding on my SPC lots because I am anticipating a re-rating of SPC from ANAL-yst. With a good set result announce tomorrow, I am sure all these ANALyst will cheong in and give analysis of SPC which normally comes in only too late, but it will affect the price upward a little..........I am more in the waiting for the outcome of the expanding E&P activities SPC announced lately. Before that announcement, the mgt had actually laid ground for such activity by introducing new head and risk manager. To me, that was a tell-tale sign of something explosive about to happen. Hence I accumulated from that time. This will probably give SPC a better boost and reason to hold as valuation will be different from the past!........ Just idesa's view, not an inducement to buy/sell. | ||||

This joker started to rally since 28 Mar of 6.76. Over the last 2 weeks it price had been pushed to today's level, thats already costed in most of the news to be announced tomorrow. As Idesa highlighted that today are just some last minute window shoppers, not much cheap and good stuff to buy already. Can loon then see tomorrow loh, since you hv missed the boat. Or this evening buy it down, Q 10bits lower at closing price. AK gut feeling, base on last week price and its performance this morning, its support level may hovering on 8.10. Thats all my view loh. | ||||

All sideline awaiting for announcement of earning hence low volume these 2 days. I guess tomorrow will be muted too. When announce result, might open with a bang, which makes it very difficult to take position then. If you bet SPC will announce good set of result, buy now before ppl get excited and drive the price up. If not, stay sideline that you might get bargain after announcement. | ||||

Ah yah, beer problems. Being telling people to Q at 2000 yesterday, but loitering at kopi thiam till 1130 then came back to Q. Max Q also no use, people early loh. Q Kepland 10 lots at 5.91, system filled it at 5.86 this morning. Thats answers Idesa's querry earlier on. Kepcorp,Q 11.70, SPC 8.11 and SGX 8.05 ALL gone, sigh!!! |

My chart reading (a mth ago) says this burger would surpass 9.60. That's why I have been accumulating at 6.52 to 7.07. Let's see if I am right about the 9.60 target. Cheers! | ||||

AK gut feeling , this burger will surplus 8.11 but may hv adjustment after SPC 1qtr record card out on 22 Apr 08. News could be very good, thats may further pushing its price near record high of 9.05. Lets hope for the best loh, since we hv patient to keep the burgers for mths leow. Cheers. | ||||

You will get the opened price, whatever it is higher or lower. However, under normal trading day, if you key in the so-called unreasonable price, then your request would be treated as Rejected, esp during open market time. AK kena few times already. Sometime really got frastrated when you see chickens running away, eps early the moring when you wanted to catch the worms. |

AK one question: If for example SPC closed on Friday 8.01 and I bid 10 bids higher @8.11. If mkt opens and SPC trades @8.05, does that mean I will get my bidding (since my bid is higher than open) and pay only 8.05? Also if it opens lower @7.89, I will get mine and pay only 7.89?

Dont follow me, there is risk. Stock below $10, a bit is 1 cents, max is 10 cents higher than last closed prise. For stock more than $10 each bit is 2 cents , max is 20 cents, ie is 10 bits. If you hv no confidence, then you buy when market opens 0859hrs, ie the time you can see buy and sell prices on line. However, you can Q at 2000 hrs a day before the trading day. Early birds catch the worms, so to speak. Officially , the pr open hrs is 0830-0859hrs. 0859-0900 is a period that you can not cancel or withdraw your order. However, the timing appearing on your respective broking house web site may hv delay, hence don't do things under those critical period, just in case. |
