everybody is pinning on that the mkt will be ok with the 1st QTR reporting to drive the index higher. this is a danger sign that the sell-off could be just round the corner..is better to play with small qty/amount if u really wants to trade..Cash is king when the mkt starts to sell-down..U can also consider to use the $ to take the advantage to short when that happen.

for penny counters when it runs usually for a short period. after that it may goes down when BBs start to sell them and u don't know how low will it goes(bottom).worse when the vol start to drop.. i think when it triggers yr stop-loss u hv to accept it.this is to preserve yr capital and prevent yr losses fm getting bigger.. avg down may be only applied to blue chips.

In last week, STI merely lost 12 points from the opening of 2994 and close higher at 2982. because all these pennies trading is so speculative that its not trading on fundamental, merely on trend... so u dun want to hold a huge chunk of penny shares when its out of fashion. u will never know when it will come back again... hence, averaging down is not advisable.... hit and run sniper strategy usually works in this kind of trade....

But sorry for my noob question, Im a newbie who is not invested in this penny run, just looking at the sidelines. How come everybody talks about cutting loss when stocks drop but averaging down as strategy is almost unheard of? Thanks! | ||||

Strange, US market still holding well. Maybe to them bad news is really good news. Tomorrow morning wake up see they got run road or not? Friday STI flat is expected, but so many penny run road together is well plan, by many BBs @#$%!!! All play undertable one ah??? |

Friday many mass panic selling because they thought tonight europe and US will drop like shiit. And it also near to may effect, or maybe not... But now seem both the market holding quite well now without any siao movement. Or they think bad market = got chance for QE3 again? Or good market no boost? Maybe next week won't be that bad after all. Those run road already run liao, when they coming back? whos know? Maybe next week they bang wall again leh? Or us? |

Blue chip play is ok la... We rarely see blue chip drop 20 - 30 % overnight... Penny is so scary !!! Me ball ball drop on floor leh if drop so much... My children need to sale already... lol

Very good advise also, i agreed too :) I also backside itchy blur blur load 3 counter, if not i almost like in heaven liao. I wish i right, but if wrong, wrong la. Just let go and play another fun games, there's always others games around us.
