For the last FR, GentSpreported losses as usual.  Probably due to spending on infrastructures and out of pocket money for securing licence and other goodwill.  It actually looks silly to invest in this counter.

If I buy, it is for fluttering with the ups and downs played by the biggies.  To really invest now is stupid if you based on the figures.  But of course you are investing based on the future of big bucks being made via the gambling business.  Nonetheless, the gambling owners could also lose money if they do not manage the business well.  So for long term investment, also must think deep.

 Alert Admin 		steve its just my own tp i dun read charts or anything. iam not calling yeah.its just my own sellingprice. my previous was 1.30 and that was when it was trading around 1.05-1.08 and i was greedy and held on to it when my tpis reached so now learnt a lesson. my thinking casino will always make money, they have universal studio which saands doesnt have. n universal studio will attract alot of people for 3-5 years.not only that they do have rentals units too and though will not be as many as MS but people will start going there for weddings n stuff. of course my selling price i will see how the market is at that time. if it is not possible i will sell at a lowered 1.35-1.38 . 1.6 -2 is risktaker TP. mine not so high

For those who bought at 1.2 to 1.3, don't worry.  The price will come back if you hold it long enough unless you wish to cash out and buy other counters you are sure will make you some money to cover the loss you suffered in GS.

Please note: LVS just about to open it soft launching on April 27, 2010. in six mths time ahead of it. somewhere in August 2010. how will UK and it result can show, see isit profitable or nett lost ??.

Let see this un-finish business of collecting another billion to help fund it OPs..

1) Lim's family release the Bond Holder news that seriously cripple the upside of Genting. A lot of players are hurt even Big Boys suffer huge losses.

Please this is a public forum to share and its up to individual to do some thinking. If u expect it to be updated please call your broker "I hope your broker knows the market".

The worst is over for genting. thats pretty sure. Those who have hold and manage to get some more stocks will get their rewards down their road. We assume everything runs smoothly "No Major hipcups"

In 6 months time Genting will publish some Rosy FR reports. :) Remember Stock market run 6 months ahead of economy. If you understand what I mean do what you think its right.

1.45 seem very very far away. 50% to go leh.

Donno when can reach.

Maybe you can put yr target lower? earn every 5% then sell.

Once drop more than 5% go in again?

Maybe this more realistic, achievable. But u need to monitor the stock closely.

As you can see, Genting nowaday up and down margin very huge.

Someone post this before. I copy it and read it everytime i want to buy a stock.

 

Do not follow blindly; Buy what you know; Sell what you earn.

Don't buy when many people are buying; it may be already at its highest 

Don't sell when many people are selling; it may be already at its lowest 

Start buying when many people are selling; it may be at your bargain 

Start selling when many people are buying; it may be at your best profit. 

Be alert when market is too hot, it is your sign of exit 

Be alert when market is too soft, it is your sign of entrance 

Practice Practice Practice and you will perfect it one day.  

Do not GAMBLE

 

Once I also try to believe Genting can reach 1.5 before opening. But I sold mine mostly at 1.2+.

I read everyone post, but i made the last decision base on my way of trading.

I remember risktaker call to buy China Milk. I know China Milk from him. But after research, my decision is not to buy. Luckily i did not buy, else kena halt. Haha.

So do your own research and believe in yourself. If you make the wrong decision, you can improve and learnt the lesson.

If you just follow blindly, you learn nothing even you earn million.

Don't worry guys and gals.. there is always another day to fight when the market opens.. :) Just make sure you don't give up and believe in the trading method you use.. And of course.. please always remember emotional / fears like greed and patience..  Emotional play is always one of the factors which I hope to explain one day to you guys..

not because he give wrong info so i blame him. I bought genting because i know before it open, it will increase, and i saw the support is strong at 1.05. So i bought at that price. Btw i not implying the tp cos i nv believe in tp. I just gambling to let it increase somemore, if no, i will sell off. But I never sell because he is so confident. he nv mention at all buy at your own risk.

When everything drop,then what he say now, he is very careful.

I never will blame him for losing profits. It ok. The pro is he is too confident in what he say and will mislead ppl if he still continue.

No one can gurantee the future market but he act as if he knew that time.  

For long term investment, which stock wont increase. I also know genting will increase in future after mbs are opened, and everything is stable between them.

Market changes everyday, i also know. but that time, you never mention at all and you have time to ask ppl to sell, but u keep hang on, and when you say u had sold off, u are alway late and only say once or twice.

Forum is open for opinions, so i never blame him. i blame myself ma, so i say i learnt a gd lesson.  

Anyway, i wont harp on this issue. It just a small matter. I never lose anything. I still earn based on my own judgement. So believe in ownself and do own research when ppl recommend us a stock. Some recommendatioon by risktaker and other forumer really do mean us good. :). It just a matter we want to take time to digest and think thoroughly anot.

 Alert Admin 		the bonds were distributed from the institution houses to investors lah, i also bought some from secondary market and sold before genting hit $0.85. I remember there is a black out period for the bonds to be converted to shares (i think is 10 days at least), so may be some of them are still holding after the conversion.

I wonder if the price is so well supported at around 0.94-0.95 is because GS cannot afford to offend institutional buyers of their bonds (current conversion price is 0.95) for their future fund raising efforts.  For this same reason, GS also has vested interest to not let their price drop too much so that they can raise more funds with less shares too.  Food for thought.  It will be interesting to see what happens to the share price once the bond holders have liquidated their holding.

agree with newbab, maybe it is not a call. but risktaker are too confident that he keep asking us to have faith and everything will be fine. and keep emphasize, cao cao , you are playing with fire etc. will let you see zhugeliang power etc. and said his surbordinate cant handle the sell down, and he had to handle.. he sound so confident he will win the game.. Frankly, we trust him too much with his 3 kingdoms. Lucky i run before my genting drop to my cost price when i realized he seem talking rubbish. Now genting may be up, because the bondholder or those want to sell had sold most off. the impact somehow will be done soon. Anyway risktaker really mislead ppl he really can handle the situation that time. Done is done, we had learnt a very gd lesson. Hold it and sell off soon when it breakeven or wait another 1 -2 mth.. once mbs open, i believe genting will drop somehow...

Genting SP    0.935 0.940 -0.015 -1.6 Vol:79,102,000 8,713,000 0.935 0.940 1,007,000 0.955 0.935

Many buy on hope Gent SP will be as good as getting, guaruntee a gaming licence. For some, it current trading on such hope that it can quickly rise or push it trading beyond $1.6-$2.

In near term such news has been facted in, while many branded analyst had been promoting Gent SP target price from $1.28 onward, they R awaiting to unload when TP is reachable and time may come B4 Gent SP announce, like for EG, getting a gamling licence or B4 it official opening.

It is UNthinkable that during all these Bond Conversion, Rights Issues, Private Placement, there was # NO iNSiDER TRADE information being ANNOUNCED #

Is it TRUE that there was NO INSIDER TRADE during these Significant SWINGS of UPs and downs? 

Did Genting Majority Shareholders made hundreds of millions during these SWINGS?

0.95 very good support....

should it break, it will touch 0.90cts again, and we be expecting a double bottom formation which is a reversal trend...

i entered in 0.95, still save some bullet for 0.90....
