 Alert Admin 		No doubt shorting does not require much capital, only the capital you want to lose.  But when shorting, your worst fear is a mad counter that you shorted, like recently, JEL, TTI and Contel.  Shorting can kill if you are not careful.  Stop and cut losses are not available in most share trading platforms in Singapore.  Not talking about CFDs, but shares.

So its true money can be made both ways but shorting is much much easier n have more time to enjoy life that all...cheers

1)Every stock at rest continues to be at rest, in active motion continues to be in motion, unless there is an external force acts on it ( BBs, results, news etc…) which can change or reverse the current state.

2)The  Force on the stock   = price x volume.

3)For every action done on the stock, there is an equal and opposite reaction, ie, buyer vs seller.

one day in the afternoon eating apple and observing stock market at the same time, discovered the above   3 laws…lol…

    The reality is money can be made both in shorting and longing.

          It is all a matter of when one executes one's positions.

                  Untimely executions are always the cause of losses,

There is no doubt that many traders make money in stocks (and forex, etc too)...

    These traders are good players who always strategically buy low, or sell high.

          But it is not easy for many to be a good player. This is due to their human nature.

                  And it is the hardest thing for humans to overcome human nature... lol... Smiley

The main reason they lose a lot of money is that they do not believe it is betting.

    They staunchly insist that they are investing... even after buying at top prices...

              Also, when their stock goes up, they buy some more... a lot more... Smiley
