Looking at SPX 500 now, unless things change after Europe opens, chances of S& P 500 going down tonight is high. If S& P 500 goes down tonight, STI is higly likely to break below 2900 tomorrow.

Sifu is right... when the market drops like sheet, they will hold on for more profits... Just like when the market rallies, many will continue to hold for more profits. In the end, they end up losing all their profits ie. profits run away when they let it run... lol...

With the current sentiment, I dont think DOW will rally to 14k in the next 20 days. With Euro pending issues, I personally feel that unless its resolved, we will be trading side ways (which also presents itself as an opportunity for ranging trade) or foreseeing the market weakening slowly (worst kind of death, as you dont feel it until you realized it). In most experts opinions, shorting today's market is wrong. Should have done it long ago. You can actually feel the ground and the rocks and muds with your hands. So I agreed with Iso that market will still rally upwards. | ||||

When the STI goes to 3000, all will be " bullish all over" again... People will be optimistic and upbeat... and commit to buy... that's very human reaction. When the chance for them to break-even came, they will not sell, but hold confidently...
