so far i have aready bought in 200 lot ot CM share at 14.5c today. seem like have to keep for long........but no regret..Bullrun and Shplayer I am truly thanks for your adviced....two of you are great... |

shplayer, yes, I'm persistent and would like to discuss further. There must be something that I don't know that make the rest think that this counter is undervalued now. We are here to share and learn, so I don't anything wrong to continue with the discussions. If someone can convince me that CM is in fact undervalued, I will definitely invest in it! |

Bullrun, I must say you are very persistent on this topic. I think, for now, everything that can be said, any advice and personnal opinion about CM has been disseminated on this thread. It is now time for reader/s to evaluate all that has been said together with the info from CM management and analysts via their reports/announcements and make a decision on their future plans for CM. At the end of the day, stock investment (or playing shares) is an individual game.......we act according to our decisions and we reap the benefits or pay the price for these decisions. Either way, no one else can and should be blamed or given credit for the outcome. |

Yes. If freight rate drop then share price will definitely drop. If freight rate remain, then share price will most likely stable and only affected by depreciation cost and survey cost. If freight rate up a lot, then share price will be up. For the next 6 to 12 months, Freight rate is no likely recover (I didn't say this, the result announcement said so). Also, the trend is currently showing DOWN. So, there is nothing to show that CM is a good buy, why some people think it is undervalued? Perhaps the only good reason to be happy is the CM will drop a lot less than others, this will be a consolation! |

if freight rate continue to drop.share price can easily drop below 10c! just if.. it also can be, if freight rate not going to drop...can the share price easily back up ? |

CM share price drops reflect the lower freight rate. When the market turn around, CM will benefit just like most of the other company. Looking ahead for 06, freight rate is going to remain flat and may slide further. I bought Jaya at 18c few years back and is still holding on to it. Be relistic, CM not going to perform in the next 6 to 12 months and why park your money there?? Don't be fooled by those syndicates out there pushing prices up to unrealistic levels and joing in the chase!! Just like CM, being chased to 21c recently and now correct to 14.5c. Is 14.5c cheap and good time to accumulating. My answer is NO. Wait unitl Q3 result is out and evaluated the situation then, if freight rate continue to drop, share price can easily drop below 10c! |

In the long run, CM is worth accumulating. At this level, ask yourself how much lower can this stock go? Prices are depressed due to the unflattering BDI and bearish market. Do note that this cycle of low BDI would not be forever. When it turns around, that's when all marine stocks will start moving. So for long term investor, don't fret. Just continue accumulating. Another eg is STX Pan Ocean, just ask yourself whether the current price is justified for such a large company which posted a reduced profit of USD20 million? WE ARE SMALL INVESTORS. Have a long tem view and think logical when investing. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THOSE SYNDICATES OUT THERE PUSHING PRICES TO UNREALISTIC LEVELS AND JOINING IN THE CHASE. I am guilty of it 6 years ago and do not intend to repeat this mistake. |

It is ok...bad posts don't cost us a single cents. Just wanted to share my views here because I just couldn't understand why some think this counter is undervalued and insist on buying. I thought I can learn something from them but they just show me the bad posts!! |

Sigh!!!! at the risk of getting more 'Bad" posts, I would like to add, for all who are interested, they can moniter the DBI on www.investmenttools.com. I am doing this cos I hope ppl make informed decision in the market. We are all here to make money...if they do so, I am happy for them. If they lose, and want to take it out on our points, then so be it....at least we tried our best to help eh? Bullrun? Looks like my points performance in this blog is not doing as well as my stock investments....Sigh!!!!! More 'Bad' posts coming.....????? |

For those who buy CM without doing any research or buy simply listening to rumours or tip from friends...it is time to learn from this experience. As I mentioned earlier. many important information are already given by CM when they release their Q1 result!!! The facts are there, make an effort to read the announcements!! Refer to page 1 of the press release...BDI drop to 47%! .....The company achieved a freight rate of only a third lower. With excess capacity around for the next few months BDI may drop further(it is currently down trend!), ask yourself also, will customer continue to pay CM above market rate? So, very lightly freight rate for CM may drop another 17% even if the BDI remain stable!! Refer to page 2 now....29% yoy rise in vessel tonnage to 440,000 dwt in 1Q06 drive depreciation charge up 124%!!!! So is adding more vessel helping CM to improve profitability?? Page 2 again....plan to send another t2o dry bulk ships fro intermediate/special survey in 3Q06....that is why I say it is not time to buy yet wait after Q3..... Couple with all these facts, one should also pay attention to China trying to cool down it economy. In theory, when interest rate up...DBI should drop!! |

shplayer, Agreed with you and you sure deserved a 'GOOD' post from me! We are here to share our views only but some ppl really believe that we can move the market!! Many retail investor cannot accept reality. I used to be one of them....lost money year after year until I learnt to accept reality and move with the market!! |

Yes Bullrun, seems that some readers cannot stand reading something they don't want to hear and take it out by giving a 'Bad' post. Shows the level of their maturity.....or lack of it. Take heart, losing a few points that did not cost us a cent is a far lesser consequence to the predicament they are in and refuse to acknowledge the reality of the situation. Like you, I will probably get a few 'Bad' posts for this ...he he he. |

Unfortunately, the number of bad post given to me would push CM share price up. For serious investors of CM, you don't really need advise from others. The FACTS are all readily available. Go to diguest CM Q1 result annoucnemet. They already provided enough information there to tell you how bad the next few quarter will be. Then go an read CM 05 full year reports. You will find that they already given up the hope that DBI will recover in the near future. In fact, the whole of 06 will be bad and do expect it to get worst. You can go internet and look at the trend for DBI and find the answer for yourself. Remember late last year, CM dir keep buying at around 16c to 18c whne CM dropped to that level. Ya, they think the DBI will recover some time early 06 but that did not happen. Ask yourself, why didn't dirs buying this time round when CM drops below 16c??? If it is undervalue or still offer good potential?? My ans is DEFINITELY NO! Continue to given me bad post if u disagreed but that will not drive the share price, better spend the time working out strategy to exit from CM to something with better potential! GOOD LUCK. Those vested really need LUCK!! |
