dear all, HH is undergoing minor slide even when the market is strong. i'll only cheong when it reaches 95cents. The "inside news" i got is it will have correction to slightly less than 90 cents once the market goes thru' major correction. This is a long term investment - may have to wait till end of the year to gain big profit. Previously i got hotel property at $1.54 and sold off at $1.89. If only i hold another 6 months which then trade at more than $6!!! Good luck to all. |

Elfin... I also disagree that a stock whose technical price actions are analysed can only be a "short-term" stock, as you put it. On the contrary... In fact, if I do a technical analysis of a stock and the technicals are still promising as the stocks price 'journey' progresses in time, I may still be holding on to it, be it for many months or even longer if necessary. So you see, a "TA stock" ie one in which the technical price action have been analysed, may well be a long-term stock as long as the technicals are still 'good' eg. as long as it's uptrend is still beautifully intact. |

sigh. ipunter, agreed lah. but ppl tend to mix up long term with short term. so there's convenient short hand for them. (ie, TA stocks= short term, FA stocks = longer term. aka, at least 2 mths) o/w, yea, honestly i don't draw such distinctions amongst my stocks myself. like i said, i'm a mixed bag of nuts. hahahaha. |

sigh. don't havta talk so much on this counter lah. said so many times already, will say it just this last time: have always expected hh to be volatile. i've never denied this fact, have i? go read my previous posts. in any case, note that hh's intraday trading range is at least 5c on average. Its movements past few sessions, while disappointing, are not out of the ordinary: it's still range bound, as per the techs. This is an FA stock. try not to mix it up with the fast, sexy TA ones. in the market, time is the proof. dun gotta say anything more. cheers all! keke, trymyluck, StA is going as per predicted earlier in my bet with eastonbay. didn't update it 'cos saw no change, hence no need to. no hurry with this guy. will have lots of trading opps along the way too. it's forming a W pattern. watch for breakout above 1.31 for uptrend. good luck! :) |

Superbowl is the subsidiary of Hiap hoe. I notice the price of Superbowl have been going up for the past few days. For the past three trading day, it have went up from 24c to 32c. |

hi elfinchilde, thanks for the update. dont worry im used to volatility stocks, thats why im still in the Straits Asia boat. u dont need to get scared abt this counter. agree with u n victoria, this yr revenue definitely going to exceed last yrs revenue with already sold out launches. if only the company makes 1 big announcement of new launch shortly thts when BB might be tempted to take him higher. |

oh and btw, since most ppl tend to expect fast returns etc, which this current climate encourages. the other thing abt hh, which i've also been saying since april: this counter is for a 3Q of the year play. ie, august onward. It's an FA counter, not a fast TA trade. Meant for buy and keep. You don't expect fireworks from this guy now; doesn't make sense to. want fireworks, go for china energy, or UIC. haha. |

hullo trymyluck, volume's one of the key indicators of a sustainable/unsustainable rally. also, for some indicators, it's an initial parameter that you need to look to in order to weed out if the stock is accurate on it or not. briefly, vol increase indicates actual rally when the vol is sustained and high. if the vol increase is just for a one day period/thereabouts, then it indicates a short lived, likely unsustainable rally. pls note that vol in this case is more for longer periods (ie, not intraday) trades. if it's intraday momentum you want, then its the busd data you must see. all in all, best to use it for longer periods. single intra day might be misleading, esp in punting counters or if macro trends wash out the entire market. btw, good observation on hh/placement you had there. cheers to you! :) and yep. hh is volatile. been saying that since april alr. hell, even i shake at times with this stupid counter. haha. |
