You are referring whether their shares are being moratorised? Most of the time for large amounts, yes.....for a period ranging from 6 months to a year Got to look at the documents

I like AK analysis as well Very fair and balanced and makes perfect sense But I like things that dun make sense.....you tell me if Q&M makes sense or not? Going to hold a party after 5pm today

Yup.. now also not a good time to sell also... bbs doing induction tactic.. so most likely u are force to sell at 15 cents instead of 15.5 cents. why sell now and fall into the trap of the bbs? Just wait for full result to be up bah... then, got a higher chance of selling above 16 cents and beyond... With rights and placement, good thing is HW's net tangible asset will go up. Bad thing is Earnings per share will dip due to the enlarged share base. AK71 actually did a very detailed valuation analysis about Healthway Medical. Take a look at his blog. http://singaporeanstocksinvestor.blogspot.com/2010/02/healthway-medical-updated-valuation.html While there are inherent risks, I think we can still be cautiously optimistic about HW as I believe HW will experience phenomenal growth.... Got Good Chefs and Good ingredients, what we want to see is good food as the result (newbiestock from CNA forum = newbie123 from nextinsight forum) Ultimately, it voices down to how much faith u have in the management. So, do attend AGM and ask the management more questions... |

Hmm.. actually after XR right, it drops from 19.5 cents to 17.5 cents. Afterwards, it trends down because the whole world is having very bad sentiment due to the major correction. The rights share is already available for trading. So, the current mkt price at 15/15.5 cents already factor in the correction for the rights. But the correction for the placement (IFC, substantial shareholders) right now have not been factored in yet. At the EGM, the outcome of the placement will be mostly likely be voted for. As long as after the placement, if did not see insider selling from IFC and substantial shareholder, i think the placement correction will be kept to minimal. The new target price was revised from the original 28 cents to 21 cents (which include the rights and the placement but exclude the earning contribution from the new clinics that were set up in Q4 2009/Q1 2010). If factor in the earnings from new clinics, maybe the revised price may go up 1-2 cents. If u bought it 16 cents and below, it should be fine... since a decent safety of margin (>30%) is there.

I think it is time to go back to basics 1. Fundamentally, are there downside risk at the moment? Probably not.... a. You are going to have a smashing FY2009 results...if you go thru their 1st 3Q 2009 results, already better than FY2008 I believe. So the earning potential will be there. b. You think World Bank is made up of a bunch of morons and will pump money into a money losing entity? You think the directors have no where to park their cash and wanna pump more money back to the company? c. Are there loans to refinance and rollover? NO...after the rights issue, private placements etc...HW easily flushed with 100 million SGD.... d. Are there bad news in the horizon, hidden blindspots? NO, not that I can see... 2. Technically, we don't talk about any fancy graphs or TA methods.... We just talk about Simple Moving Average Just go to SGX and play with the settings.... Whether you choose short term, medium term or long term of 10, 50 or 200 days....all are trending upwards...and the price action is above the curve..... So I agree that things when they become too heated and volatile, many people will psychologically be affected in one way or another...but agree, to each his own But to me, if things become too complicated, too much rumors, too much hopes and aspirations that are not fufiled YET....it is time to step BACK and focus on the BASICS.... |

this counter is too risky, went up to 0.19 then tank to 0.140. Being a penny stock, losses are huge. I will sell first tomorrow to rid out the EGM event risk. People might feel I am too safe an investor but its better to exercise caution then to lose hard earn money in this manner. | ||||
