It depends on how high one has bought, and how long the downtrend will last... Averaging down can kill if the downtrend is prolonged...

you must still stop loss..but i still thk market rally will not end that fast..just becos of Iran.. i am looking at 9500...sti 2600...no worry, just stop loss,,,doesnt means u loss...just withdrew..just do it when hit...dont be emotional, otherwise u lose more...

cheongwee, SAR has dropped quite a fair bit from recent high le ..... will it still continue to run up? oil px also dropping .... coal play also affected .... buy in more on pull back ? | ||||

Cheongwee, agreed! matter of 1 to 2 weeks to reach 2.00. End June 09 is half yearly closing for the big funds so prices likely to go up to make the books look good !

kbesci and all SAR vested.. remember i told u my fund manager friend , he told me abt this stock and he told me that his fund bought 1500 lots....at ard 116..i ask him he said 2.5 is his target.. pls again, i am not credible...but i do like to share with you, and hope u make $$$...i am assumming you have trading experience,..but you must be sensible to set a stop losss...for just in case amatter.... and there are many fund into it...so he is just a small fry..so pls DYODD...have a stop loss, if you die die must buy...like me.. earlier add on another 50 at 1.86..almost scare the me off...there was lot of seller...but they disappear..dont need to explain, u ppl know why?... remember to take profit..nobody know when the music stop...$ in your bank is real profit, no on the computer monitor.....let look forward to 2.0 ..good luck.. |

$2.00 is psychological barrier, may sell down at this level but a decisive break will indicate strength to build up more positions. This counter has helped me made some decent profit but no as much as Cheongwee ... Congrats! i liquidated my position at 1.79 this afternoon though i feel there's still some upside but i just want to reduce my exposure now. Too many counters involvement is just too difficult to watch over them. i will be back to support this counter again. |

i think 2 .0 is not a matter of if, but when...and i think it is some 9% away, so anytime nw...but 2.5 will be best...that means 40K for me..and this rd i might just sit on it till it touch 2.5, of course still got to set stop loss.... remember July...got profit take..u never regret.

Aiyoh, didn't know that i am a God already? i almost fall from my chair...just becos i make some money in stock ,so i am stock god... but i am a hardware god...because i own a hardware business...i am a more a hardware god that is becos i make more money in my business than in stock, except for my gold and silver stock..they are worth more than my business..so shoudn't i call myself God of Gold and Silver... But if gold and silver and the stocks here tomolo collapse then i will be downgrade to be just plain cheongwee again.. it is true...bubble burst , bubble make..nobody can be anything forever...god. or human..nothing is permanent..so i wish you be happy and well.. I know SAR will soar tomolo, if tonite dow remain as it is..

Oh yes, some I hold for longer term n some for trading but now out for short term trading n re-direct my funds to Midas, Ausgroup n Hongxin. I m less active in this thread now as those I hold longer term but now more active in Ausgroup, Midas n Hongxin as I believe the play will soon rotate to s chips, as every dogs has its days.

bought another 50 lot yesterday before close...at 1.72...another 5.5K profit...huat ahhhhhhhhhhh. hope all SAR supporter..buy on your way up...buy fearlessly...before July come.

last 2 days, i stick to my gun that this is just a correction, it seen that i am right currently...and i did buy more....i never let emotion takeover ...if today thing were wrong...i just simply stop losss...that all...part of my profit gone..lessmprofit.. actually, it is no emotion to talk about...afterall, it is the casino money i am betting now..so i can talk big...but in reality i still stick to my stop loss rule...even if it involved my money.. hope you all buy trhis one...XOP 2.5...immediate 2.0. |

i jsut can t believe this is a fantastic counter...i was pondering if at start of this sucker rally somewhere i bought 19/4...just on this counter alone,,,i thk i make more, than running all over...several counter.. but who know...it may go the other way, and today i will licking my wound..so it is still good to spread your $ over several counters. this one i alway buy on pull back.,...and it seen that the pull back it just a few % down,,,then shoot up again...and i never fail to buy on the way up...and i was luck to alway manage to buy at pullback before it cheong for me to take profit.. my 1.9 and abv finally in sight.. 10 trade..profit...one trade cut at 10%...total profit ard 100k over.,..just this counter alone.. richtan...are u still on this one..
