my view for this is the BBs are consolidating and when it's time they will push up to value... just my point of view cheers |

My reasoning is as follows: Biosensor had recently issued new shares....to be used for either Acquisition OR for getting new investors on board. If they let the price run away too early and then issue the new shares cheaply( happened twice before),it will get a lot of wrath from small investors like us. Hence the BB must keep it close to their desirable issue price which i estimate to be around $ 1.225 or lower ( last issued to new investors Alantic and EverUnion 2 years ago at $ 1.2215) so that it is neutral to mkt and get lesser wrath from us. Now you know why the price was single handedly forced down to $1.19 from a new high of $1.70 in Feb this yr. I was very upset with this but I cannot do much. The BB had taken huge profit now with piles of cash and is waiting to push it back up again soon , may be after release of last quarter this month ....all this is just my guess and had no evidence to back it. My plan....just wait patiently to ride with the BB as this stock has future, tgt price at least $1.70 in Mar 2013, barring unforeeable world stock disaster.

I agreed it is a positive news but too bad the Big Boy insiders has decided to fix its price at around $1.22 and any attempt to buy up by outsider is quickly pressed down with relentless sell , look at what happened this morning which is quite obvious. After reaching $1.24,it is met with a wall of sale,pushing it down to 1.225 within minutes. Still got to wait for a while. May be it is a time to accumulate.

OCBC Research Biosensors International Group: Extends licensing agreement with Terumo.Biosensors International Group (BIG) announced that it has extended its licensing agreement with Terumo Corporation (Terumo), such that the latter may continue to incorporate BIG’s BioMatrix™ drug-eluting stent (DES) technology in its own DES systems outside of the US. We believe that this agreement was due to expire in Feb 2013 (five years after the initial launch of Terumo’s Nobori™ DES), but has now been extended until Dec 2014. Terumo also has a licensing agreement with BIG for the exclusive rights to manufacture, market and sell DES systems incorporating the BioMatrix™ technology in Japan (for five years beginning May 2011). We are positive on this development as the licensing revenue provides an additional source of income streams to BIG, and also carries a gross margin of 100%. We leave our estimates unchanged as we had already previously assumed an extension to the licensing agreement between BIG and Terumo in our forecast. This is premised on the strong working relationship between the two parties and a win-win situation for this licensing agreement, in our view. Reiterate our BUY rating on BIG and S$1.81 fair value estimate. BIG also remains as our top pick within the healthcare sector.

Any views on whether is Biosensers likely to reach $1.50ish within a 6-mth period till April 2013?? I'm very tempted to buy 50 lots at around current prices and hold till CNY 2013 at least...........Anyone thinks is it advisable? I got no broker to ask. |

Is there any news or reasons for today got fierce buy-ups for Biosensers in a broad weakish STI market......... 5.05 pm even got several hundred lots buy-up at intraday-high of $1.22 |

Only my view....Biosensor must have plan to use its newly issued shares (last SGM) , the price for such issue will greatly affect its share price. Issue to whom is another puzzle. Probbaly will be made known, hopefully, in Oct when the Q result is released. Mean time , its share is capped at 1.22 or lower by the insider. No one can push it beyond this level, as previous few attempts were promptly forced down rather easily by just a few million sell transactions by the BB. Just wait and no point looking at it now unless you plan to accumulate now befor the up-kick.

How do we know when " it's almost ready" ? and for what? What happened to the share buyback? Wilmar recovered when the company started their buyback when the share price plunged.Wilamr has very good management .
