by instituitional investors. FYI

Update: China Animal plans to issue up to 100m new shares

SINGAPORE - China Animal Healthcare Ltd on Thursday announced plans to place up to 100 million new shares at an indicative price of 21.5 cents each.

DBS Bank is the placement agent.

The company's shares were trading at 24/27.5 cents range before trading was suspended pending the announcement.

In the event the upsize option is exercised in full, up to another 20 million new shares could be placed.

Assuming the Upsize Option is not exercised, the net proceeds raised is expected to be S$20.7 million, which it plans to use to fund future acquisitions, it said.
