x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	heh heh. There is some truth to that. All real life experiences from my friends working with different groups. I ve got a friend working for an investment company. They do big deals mind you. I m talking at least $100 mil or more type of deals. He s a lawyer. Went to France, attended the meeting, came back to Sing ask the French lawyers how long to get the minutes up. Lawyers said 1-2 weeks. In HK usually 24 hours. Sing prob. 48 hours. Now you know why Europe is in trouble. Its not just France, alot of  European countries are like that. They ve been living on borrowed time for the longest of time. They re unproductive and uncompetitive. They think they re only competing with European countries for deals. Thats why they re in this mess now. This problem didn t take 1-2 years to form. If you never plug the leak at the bottom, no matter how much water you pour in also no use.   Why does ECB and Germany ultimately not want to show the big money? Because its been experimented before. When the EU was all and well all the member states had access to cheap money courtesy of the EU umbrella. Instead of raising their credit quality etc they went on a spending binge and built up debts. Thats why Germany does not want to go down that route again. You can t change people s habits overnight. The greeks cheated and lied for so many years, whats there to stop them from doing so again. The Spanish PM said spanish banks didn t need any help, than suddenly one weekend U turn. After getting EUR 100 B he promptly flew off to Poland to watch Spain vs Italy. What a joke. But the Germans are stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea. They dont  give money than they die together with EU. So they give slowly.
