 Alert Admin 		CO is not proportional to SPC price, there is another x factor, STI. SPC record high at 9.05 in Oct 07, then CO only around 90. By Mar 08, SPC dropped 29.7 % from high, likewise for Kepcorp -38.9% Citydev -47.5%, Genting -43.9, SIA -29.4% ,DBS -32.5  ETC loh.

i hope u understand what refining biz is... if ur raw material in this case brent crude is high, ur end product would include the refining costs + ur raw material costs will go up... and u need to pass tis on to customers... if u can't pass it onto customers ya left with high cost raw material and ur margins will erode..

Both got close relation, under one roof, Tarmasick, if AK not mistake, correct me if wrong, memory issue loh.

 Refined oil is pegged to CO Future as well. Of course they can pass the operational cost as and when deems fit. IE CO up, kiosk pump follows and vice versa. It is not uncommon kiosk pump price increases few times per mth,if CO surge like no business. It may happen the other way round, but seems slim loh.

Agree with the vol trend. About the refining margin being tight with increasing crude price it seems to me that you are guessing.
