The below statement is worth pondering over -

Sounds like they can concur the whole of Sentosa in

1) opportunities in the leisure -

  Movies making?  (in the RWS universal studio) or another golden village in the making?

  Huge theme park?

2) opportunites in gaming -

    another casino? or huge gaming centre ?

3) opportunties in hospitality -

Mainboard-listed Genting Singapore will divest its casino businesses in the United Kingdom to Genting Malaysia for £340 million ($697 million).

Genting said the divestment of the UK operations will allow it to focus on strengthening the large scale integrated resort experience it gained in developing Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).

The sale of the operations will also add resources to enable RWS to conduct customer acquisition, marketing and brand development.

Genting added that the net proceeds of the proposed divestment may be deployed for strategic growth opportunities in the leisure, hospitality and gaming sectors, when opportunities arise.

1. Did not focus on strenghtening the large scale integrated resort.

I view it as well planning...

to them, 手心是肉，手背也是肉

first... they don't want to greatly stressing the Genting M share price...

So, using multiple rights issues in a growing big company to cover the "sink/float" business....

after big fair value adjustment with the growing big company, sell it off to Genting M.

This could become a win win situation. GentingSP will continue to grow without the drag...

Genting M get a under value business, if that is not sink....

I think we should just keep our comments to ourselves and take it to our graves. Freedom of speech and expression is a Western invention to create pandemonium in Asian societies. Asian dun need freedom, we just need money ! Tat's why asians can work 14-18 hours a day with no holiday for their whole lives and they still stay kuai kuai !  Smiley
