x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	for those who have counters tat bought at high price, do u still remember y u bought at tat high price? u tot price will still go higher n higher rite, but it din n it dropped like shit, remember? so if i say now the price maybe a little too high will anyone believe n start to consider to lessen their holding? probably not becos mkt still seems bull.   but when u notice the bear behind the bull it will probably be too late. just be careful dont worry abt missing chances to profit but rather avoid being trapped.

The difference is that Stock can kill and commodities can destroy a life. Stocks markets are controlled by bigtime short sellers where commodities are controlled by pit syndicates. To win in the stock market is to buy what the big guys are buying, is also no guarantee as big guys with little connection are also often big losers. Who are the winners then? Naturally it is the brokerages who are the winners, the people who have strong connections with first hand reports, people who handled " confidential" information and the observers of insider " lobangs" . Then there are also the staff or relatives of watchdog authorities whom we can't for sure say they are not into the market too. To the average Joe, he is bond to lose however good he is at FA or TA, because like durians, we know they are good only when we eat them, but out there, there are people who don't have to eat it to know that they are good. They are desperate, seeing the miserable vol from retail traders. Low retail participation is happening even in US, China and global mkts, not just here, and it's a sign that more people have wise up to the idea that they can lose their hard earn money playing stocks. My fear is that ignorant youngsters get sucked into stock trading thinking they can make alot of money in a short time, but lose instead, and get addicted like gambling. Trading is very complicated, and we cant beat the greedy, merciless BBs who use program trading. Most people only give up after their bullets dry up, a very big painful loss. I've discouraged my friends, colleagues, relatives from trading, bcos with internet and mobile trading, it is too easy to trade, and get addicted. 80% of people lost in stocks, how sure are they that they can be the 20%? The only way not to be the 80% is to never ever treat stocks like gambling,... ie buy/sell fast on tips and news...sure lose big big. Everyone shd wait for price to be very low then buy blue chips, and hold longer, for dividends and capital appreciation. One can only make profits from such an investment approach, ie take a long term investment approach. Betting for quick profits is no different from gambling in a casino isn't it?
