http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_world_business/view/1218087/1/.html The European Central Bank has broken new ground in the eurozone crisis with hints that it could start unlimited buying of stricken member states' bonds to drive down their crippling borrowing costs. " If the ECB convinces markets that it is providing a reliable safety net for solvent sovereigns which stay on the reform path, it may lure more investors back into these markets," he said. " In that case, the ECB may not have to buy many bonds." |

Personally if nothing wrong dun think i go bk sg...im oredi semi retire here at 43 yrs old...in sg i worked in a listed co...pay 4k +pm but no savings here shake leg n more savings...no logic but realistic...sg cant retire unless multi millionaire.

Just like you Ted, I enjoy living in China being treated like the "Ang Mo Tour Kee" in the 60 or 70th in SG. Besides having cheaper cost of living ( when is converted to SGD), it also has a lots of business opportunities for us to seize on . But mind you, always make your family able to exit out with you in case of political unstability or any emergency ! Eg seeking medical treatment .. Also never put everything in one basket!
Cheers !

Gd morning i felt that px in dongguan & chengdu is much cheaper than phnom penh...depends on items eg metre cab in bkk cheaper than phnom penh...even if u go some restaurants in HK for dim sum after 2pm (lunch crowd) they hv 50% off which is cheaper than sg...but in 1st tier city, labour cost almost same sg cos sg real income no up, inflation up  a can of china imported dice fish cost 3.40 usd...crazy i buy in sg only 2sgd...but imported mah...cigarettes dirt cheap, malboro 1 pack less than 1usd...kampong chicken (organic) 1 is 6usd...ntuc sell kampong chicken 5sgd but bullshit la, where organic the sjkin pale as ghost...haha Here most chinaman from zhejiang shanghai side cos its where fabrics from...but funny thing is i got lots of prc frens thinking migrate to sg...reason cited - same culture..told them no la, sg multi race, culture society... For me sg & hk cities to avoid...over-crowded...i here more relax care-free, biz let wife & sis-in-law run...here the culture is guy, after married stay with girl side... glad to know u guys here...gd day! |
