STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors Post Reply Rate topic

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	CLOB days bad memories.  Lost every dollar that I had including money from sale of flat. All the shares pledged were " forced sale" by HL or SF at that time.  Lost until lost count and left not even one single lot of shares then. Tell the truth was totally broke though debt-free, but was " God blessed" to be able to re-build life single-handedly.  Hey, there were others not so lucky, but  I was.  So don't play with shares.  The evil always lurks around the market. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	For ordinary players, stocks is only good for " tikam-tikam" (play small-small)...       But if one " sng-sng" (main-main) with big lots, it is too dangerous a game...           And it is the most dangerous when one has a lot of  'faith' in stocks.                 Playing stocks is more about how to protect your money from vanishing, not faith... lol... x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Stocks and shares in the SGX has the lowest valuations compared with other countries'.  Luckily for ASX, they did frustrate SGX's bid for it, otherwise Australians will cry father and cry mother (hard time and resenting) like what Singapore investors are doing now.  I did warn people constantly not to play Singapore too much.  Sng sng tio hoe, don't indulge too much!  Use the money for elsewhere.  Cheers.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Why people buy iPhone 2-3 years ago..... because it's functionality (both hardware n apps), usability (simple User interface) ..... If Microsoft wanted to sue apple I believe they have grounds ..... It's user interface is just a desktop filled with icons.... Ok if anyone could remember what sort of phones we have back then...... It's obviously apple will dominate as there are simply no competition ...... It's no brainer one would choose apple iPhone over other conventional phone..... So in these 2-3 years apple has won a huge amount of loyal followers/users..... These followers/users create few important effects.... 1) encourage development of new application/game as user base is there. 2) user website and blogs that helps reviewing the iphone has done a great job convincing visitors that iPhone is a buy. 3) proper product placement from its users especially those has a little more power than ordinary people..... Helps apple even more.... Example if u look back some drama series .... Most mobile are using iPhone..... Now thing has changed since andriod comes along .... Especially Samsung ..... According to our research..... Samsung user base is expanding rapidly .... And many users can't wait to dump their owned iphone and grab a Galaxy note 2.... Apple is different .... Its not bringing out newer and better products and it seems to focusing on its profit. iPhone 4 is a rushed product with many flaws (remember the antenna issue) iPhone 4s has release again yet again within a short period of time without major update.... Phone updates has been more incremental rather than ..... Back in 2 years where one saw the first iPhone 3G will say that's the phone I want to get ......... Time has changed ..... So many equally or better phones out there ..... We believed Samsung will continue to innovate and produce better products for now..... Buy Samsung ..... :)

Where Samsung has gain market share by putting in bigger screen and yet be able to fit in a pocket ..... We have seen apple law suit against Samsung recently ....and I believed they seen the threat and sales have been affected...... Support Samsung :)
