no matter what people say, this counter always manage to stay at top 20 volumn most of the times...these traders are really making/losing money buy and sell, bit by bit,you win I lose, you lose I win. seriously speaking, it looks really attractive now...can buy or even buy more... for long term. |

RAFFLES EDUCATION CORPORATION LIMITED (Company Registration No. 199400712N) (Incorporated in the Republic of Singapore) (I) PROPOSED SHARE CONSOLIDATION (THE " SHARE CONSOLIDATION" ) OF EVERY EXISTING THREE (3) ORDINARY SHARES IN THE CAPITAL OF THE COMPANY INTO ONE (1) ORDINARY SHARE IN THE CAPITAL OF THE COMPANY (THE " CONSOLIDATED SHARE" ) (II) PROPOSED ADOPTION OF THE NEW RAFFLES EDUCATION CORPORATION EMPLOYEES' SHARE OPTION SCHEME (YEAR 2011) (THE " NEW SCHEME" ) Further to the announcement made on 1 February 2011 in relation to, among others, the Share Consolidation and the New Scheme, the board of directors (the " Board" ) of Raffles Education Corporation Limited (the " Company" ) is pleased to announce that Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the " SGX-ST" ) has on 22 February 2011 approved in-principle the Company's application for the listing of, and quotation for, the Consolidated Shares and the new shares in the capital of the Company to be issued pursuant to the exercise of share options granted under the New Scheme (the " Scheme Shares" ), subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company (the " Shareholders" ) for the Share Consolidation and the New Scheme, and the Company's compliance with the SGX-ST's listing requirements and guidelines. The SGX-ST's in-principle approval is not to be taken as an indication of the merits of the Share Consolidation, the Consolidated Shares, the New Scheme, the Scheme Shares, the Company and/or its subsidiaries. Each of the Share Consolidation and the adoption of the New Scheme is subject to, among others, the approval of the Shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting to be convened. am holding for long term. at 27cent, of course can be lower, it is already quite rock bottom as compare to other counters. am prepare to take the small divident after consolidations. vested. |

no matter what, the trader/BB in the market seems to like to play this one, most of the times in top 20 volumn, be it long (up) or short (down), each day of half-cent or 1.5cent is good enough, as long as it is liquid,with money to make for some and money to lose for others, they don't really care, up.. down.. up.. down......just hit and run, over and over again...anyway, it's the same for other counter, nothing new. Those going to hold for long term, entry at current price range(around 26c-30c), should be OK lah, won't die unless very bad thing happen(delisted, accounting/corruptionm scandal,.financial crisis....) to the company, but then it's the same when such thing happen to other counter. Even the analysts have different views on REdu from different angle. Good luck. |

I mean stock splits and bonus issues are common in bull markets, but not consolidations, you have to make your own observations...  |
