DIAMONDS LTD (PROPOSED TAKEOVER)
DESPATCH OF THE COMPANY’S BIDDER’S STATEMENT FOR THE PROPOSED TAKEOVER

Further to the announcement on 31st January 2013 (the “Announcement”), the Board of Directors of
Innopac Holdings Limited (the “Company”) wishes to announce that the Company has lodged its Bidder’s
Statement with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and sent a copy to the Australian
Securities Exchange (“ASX”) on 26 March 2013.
Save otherwise defined, all terms used in the Announcement shall have the same meaning when used in
this announcement.
The Bidder’s Statement has been prepared and lodged in accordance with the terms of the
Implementation Deed and will be despatched on 28 March 2013 to the shareholders of Merlin Diamonds
Ltd (“Merlin”) whose names are recorded in the Merlin’s share registry on 26 March 2013.
Subject to the terms and conditions in the Bidder’s Statement, the Proposed Takeover for up to
212,147,063 ordinary shares in Merlin will open for acceptance from 28 March 2013 until 28 June 2013,
unless extended. The Company is offering 1.67 new Innopac shares for every 1 Merlin share.
