STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

I dont talk cock.

I bought gold  10US$ $98 - 100    (300 shares)

Now trading at $172.    Am still holding..  wait for higher may be say $200 plus? 

Not making alot like those few hundred k, but in terms of 2 yrs holding wiith this amount , put in bank, only earn few hundreds only......

Just for talking cock sake, don't trust everything is written in this forum.  Sometimes it is due to too free, nothing to do and being dull start to create some stories for fun.  Frankly due to the fact that I didn't trade much in sg market, so I lost only $3K out of 10K bought of various stocks.  In the US stocks, I bought US$50K stocks and came out with $62K and so better off.  Now some of my long term Sg stocks are coming back and breaking even.  Maybe can make some profits to cover previous losses. Huat arh!

When using steroid, doctor will tell you either one weeks or 2 weeks and if still not ok, must stop using it  and see doctor again.

Commodity, O& M and FAI plays to benefit as risk-on

interest ticks up.STI - Pullback ended 2980, 3200 by year-end.

Ben Bernanke’s bazooka is better than thought. The FED will

purchase USD40bil of mortgage backed securities every month

until unemployment improves and growth returns. This is a

more aggressive move than what investors had expected. Riskon

trades and cyclical stocks benefits. Interest among

commodities and O& M names that we have mentioned in

recent weeks such as Ausgroup, Nam Cheong, Kreuz, STX

OSV and Noble Group, should sustain. The same for fixed

asset investment (FAI) plays such as Pan-United for building

materials and Midas for China railway construction.

For the STI, the positive central banks actions in September

mean that the pullback from 3090 in early August has likely

ended at the early Sept low at 2980. Immediate support is at

3030. STI should gradually work itself higher towards 3200 in

4Q. In the immediate term, the two STI level to look at are

3050 and 3075. As risk-on trade returns, STI may

underperform region indices because the STI had rode on the

resilience and yield theme in recent months amid the

uncertainties. Even so, opportunities can be found among the

cyclical stocks hereIHH Healthcare - Replaces NOL as constituent of the

 Alert Admin 		In Sg, you have to choose say 3 good and dynamic blue chips, 3 good and dynamic play counters including pennies.   These are the only counters at play and you play like Ruthone making sure that each time you go in you have good entry points.   Other than that, you can forget about making good money here.   In US you need to buy heavy weights and monitor them properly to make good money.

Today price may gap up, dun chase the stock if the price gap up too much. TA wise, DOW has formed cup and handle formation and will most likely retraced to test the support as profit taking sets in when the hype is over and than moved on to test new high.

however pls note, the economy is not getting better and in fact maybe worst.
