Previously, jam a lot of time and holding goes missing. Lost some $$$ because of it. But I like Stanchart...using $$$, teach me discipline and trade within my means and very CAREFUL because playing with REAL cold hard $$$. Meaning that you will not receive Year End Reports but you do get dividend credited into your account. You have to credit money into your account in order to buy shares. Meaning that if you want to buy 1000 lots of DBS, you need to physically have that cash (need to shift/transfer money into your account). The system will auto detect that you have sufficient money into your account before order is submitted. The money will be auto deducted 3 days later. If u sell, it will also credit 3 days later

Gold itself will not rise if the the economy really crash because by than nobody can afford it and hence no or lesser demand. Jap is not better than USA in fact both are just hanging on the line due to heavy debts. China and asia alone cant hold the world economy. Im very very optimistic and long gold. USA and Europe is screwed, just read Bulgaria dont wish to join using euro, now they are smart, previously all see euro as gold haha. Copying singapore style, invest in infrastructure in downtimes.     US stimulus is not working because they are spending on banks and hope that banks will distribute the wealth. but banks will say thank you and point middle finger at obama. if they have invested in construction, more money will have flowed into the economy thru jobs and the country benefited from the construction boom. but well, us politics is such banks paid the most to th epoliticians and their dogs will do their best to get most stimulus on their own master. construction companies spend the least in politicians that well the america are so screwed.
