Here is a brief extract from the email.  Concerning about the falling price, he informed that the company is not awared of the reason but the operation is running smoothly and is not affected by the recent Sichuan earthquake nor the ongoing H7N9 bird flu. He also assured that the soon release 3rd quarter financial report  will shedding more light on their recent development.

Vegetables only account for 10% of the selling cost in cities, the remainder of cost is due to tariffs, taxes, transport , labour, rental and markups . when the stock collapse earlier , the cashflow dried up on losses and mgmt sold some stake , now its fantastic. It could be good weather or harvest that props up the cashflow , outsiders would not know. Temasek had divested its stake i believe, so i hardly think transient PE results can be a reliable basis to determine cheapness. The longer term outlook is unpredictable but there are no doubt synergies for indofood to derive from cmz logistics.Only thing is its not worth 2x the bottom price for abit of synergy benefits.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	for those buying based on FA, cheaper prices always will be better.. the lower it goes the more you are able to buy.. fundamentals of a company doesn't change overnight TA wise, cut loss is usually pegged at 3-5% of buy price.. this is also based on a trader's preference.. gd luck dyodd
