Cosco is more diversified as it is bigger in terms of asset and in terms of business also covers broader area of shipping and ship building compared to Yangzijiang which is not only smaller in assets but is a very niche player in shipbuiilding. During the market downturn Cosco would be more hard hit compared to smaller Yangzijiang. But during economic upturn, the smaller Yangzijiang would reach its maximum capacity earlier but Cosco would be ride on to enjoy higher business volume with economies of scale; although currently Cosco profit margin is half of Yangzijiang but I believe margin should improve further for the former
