Hello Graf, I know you from a german stock community. I think that the higher transaction volume in gemany is based on the general higher market volume in germany. |

Soup Rest Grp Ltd Corporate Information under SGX webpage only indicate listing in Singapore. Analyst coverage in Deutsch is to cater to investors in that part of the world. See Creative counter for reference that stated listed on Nasdaq in Aug 1992. Food at this restaurant is fantastic. It's not cheap though, restaurant price. Think double boiled clear soup most Chinese will appreciate....yummy.... |

they had soup restaurant in their model portfolio untill last week. they sold soup restaurant incause on the loan crisis. now they took soup restaurant in their model portfolio again because the stock is massive undervalued they said. I was woundering about the buying and selling, but they are right when they said that the stock is undervalued. soup restaurant is not listed in the german dax. It is not listed in an index. It is just listed at some german stock exchanges. |

even more surprise now.. cos there's analyst's report in German. (first analyst report in German that I've come across.. with lots of help from dictionary). I would imagine that Soup Restn is reall penny stock denominated in Euro. Besides, it is a restaurant that doesn't even exist in Germany... No offense to Chinese German, if Soup Restn existed in Germany while I was there, perhaps I wouldn't complain so much for the lack of 'proper' chinese food. The report basically upgrade this stock from Sell to Buy.. Good work Jupp |

nein, I had not read any other posts by you from the other threads... because there are too many entries... I only read threads that I have interest in. I guessed it purely from the word 'Singapur'. Having said that, there maybe other european languages which have Singapore as Singapur. Prize: Ich moechte gerne bockwurst, vielleicht? luftpost oder? Just kidding. Having said that, I'm really surprised that soup restn actually was listed on DAX. Will try to read the link provided by you and see what they say in German. Thanks! |

I do not exactly know who is accountable for the listing in Germany. But if soup restaurant is accountable for the listing I can understand this step because Germany has a strong capital market. Maybe it is the preparation for a capital increase which ist necessary and desirable for a big foreign expanding. I am still positive for this company... Is anybody here invested in soup restaurant? |

Hi Jupp77, Wow! All the way from Germany! I'm from Singapore! Soup Restaurant's food is really good. But I do wonder if they serve the same menu in Germany? Do they have Samsui Chicken there and their famous soups? |

I am from Germany. Soup Restaurant is also listed in Germany. At some day the volume in Germany is higher than at the Singapur stock exchange. From the german view, all the delivered facts (revenue, price-earnig-ration, net operating margin, growth, cash, profits for the last years) are great. A lot of people in Germany think that the stock is undervalued. When I speak to people from Singapur they say that the restaurants are allways full and the food/meals are great. Do the Singapur people do not the the potential of soup restaurant? Is somebody of you invested in Soup Restaurant? @scotty, where are you from? |

I am not from singapur, but soup restaurant was founded in 1991. Soup published their financial results from 2003 to 2007 (half year). They were able to increase their net oprating margin over the last 5 years. where is the risk of competition? By expanding to oversea I see the chance and the risk. It is right, that nobody knows if the food is accepted in other countries (cultures). But, I think with the lot of cash and the cash flow of their operations from singapur they will have a good background for expanding. (mcdonalds is still operating 117 restaurants in sinngapur!) |
