yea ur calculation is not exactly wrong, but wrong..the divvy is for the period jul-dec07, hence the 2.2% is for half yr. if u read the FY report, the DPU for FY07 is 8.98 cents, it's actually 4.3% yield for the year 2007 based on today's closing price of $2.09. |

Oh man, thats only 2.2% yield including the special dividends.. that's crap.. ($46.1/current price $2090) = 2.2% Business doing well, but it seems like not treating shareholders very well.. Pls correct me if i am wrong in my calculation.. still learning.. =) |

FYI, divvy is annouced at final divvy 4.22 cents plus speical divvy of 0.39cents. |

Its said hundreds of line of profit making steps over the last yr and yr to come in BT today but it didn't announce any Dividend given, stange. But its a good counter. Pse read BT paper page 5 for its CEO Vincent Yeo comments or surf net at www.businesstimes.com.sg |

So many good news on tourism in the Straits Times today and last few days. 10 million visitors, increase occupancy, higher room rates, upcoming major events e.g. F1 and the future IR. This will be reflected in the earnings of hotels in the next few quarters. |
