hello august, in my opinion, go for Greateasten SupremHealth. Its reinburses your medical bills upto the amount charged. Be it intensive care charge, Pre-hospitalisation specialist's counsultation, surgery or post-hospitalisation follow up, with Supremehealth, you may not need to pay any hospitalisation expenses, other than the standard deductible and co-insurance portion as regulated by the MOH. |

If you have not opted out of MEDISHIELD, then you are should still be covered for its hospitalisation insurance plan. If you had opted out of MEDISHIELD, then you can apply for a private Shield Plan avail from NTUC Income, Great Eastern, AIA etc Do comparisions to find out which plan suits you best..You can use your MEDISAVE to pay for all or a portion of the premium; depending on the scope of coverage you want. Hope you are in good health, otherwise the insurer may impose coniditions or in worse case, totally reject your application. All the best......

You may want to consider one paid via Medisave like one of the Shield plans. However, they come with a deductible and a co-insurance of 10%. Depending on how big the medical bill is, you will have to cough out the money from your pocket (some can still come from your medisave though). You can buy a rider to cover this. There are a few in the market, namely, NTUC, GE and Prudential. Shop around and see which one meets your needs. I covered my family under NTUC. |

Hi, I am expected to be retrenched soon and one of my top priority will be to buy a Hospitalised insurance. Better to have peace of mind espy when there is no monthly income. Does any of you have any good suggestion on which Hospitalised insurance is best in town ? Thanks, |
